Kevin Mahaney Digital Reference Room and Patrick 67 & Vickie Miele Group Study Room

OML digital reference room

The Keven Mahaney Digital Reference Room was created specifically to allow students and visitors to access the rapidly growing online image banks of early maps. One of the three, public-use computers is equipped with two very large monitors to permit the detailed comparison of online images. All the computers are equipped with ArcGIS.

The Patrick ’67 and Vickie Miele Group Study Room is a small room where small groups can work communally on map history projects. It is equipped with a large, wall-mounted monitor to allow an entire group to consult the same imagery (driven by a laptop).

Both rooms are accessed from the main reference room.
