Brief Description: Pictorial map of the world on a newly created projection called the Octovue Projection published by Harold B. Ward and Lloyd E. Pitner. Verso includes a deconstruction of the globe and includes hundreds of decorative vignettes depicting scenes from around the world. Included are advertising graphics promoting Monarch Ranges and Super-Heaters. The map is based on the work of Pitner who devised projecting the round world on paper without any type of distortion, shapes, sizes and distances.
