Notes: Dedications: Volume I is dedicated to Lady Essex Mostyn, wife of Sir Roger Mostyn, Welsh politician. Volume 2 is dedicated to Lady Dowager Wrey possibly the daughter of Sir Bouchier Wrey, 6th Baronet and his second wife Ellen Thresher. Volume 3 is dedicated to Lady Jane Mansel of Margam who was the wife of Sir Thomas Mansel, a member of one of the wealthiest families in South Wales. Volume 4 is dedicated to Queen Anne of Great Britain.
