Brief Description: Colorful fantasy map populated by figures from nursery rhymes, fairy tales and children's books. Included is the Pied Piper of Hamlin, Jack climbing the beanstalk, Goldilocks and the three bears, Humpty Dumpty. Hess also included figures from Central European tales from his childhood in Prague such as the princess in the locked tower. Early editions of the map such as this one featured a figure called "The Wandering Jew" at the lower right walking a path. In the 1950's the figure was renamed "The Wanderer".
