Brief Description: Survey plan by Joseph Lee of Bucksport who sent it to Moses Greenleaf at his request. The plan shows property divisions and a yellow line separating land annexed to Orrington. Included is a handwritten note by Lee to Greenleaf regarding the survey and thanking him for his hospitality. At the time the survey was sent, Greenleaf was postmaster for Williamsburg, Maine. The land divisions include Harvard College, a possible land grant likely rented to "5 or 6 families on it". Included is a school lot of 300 acres and first minister's lot also of 300 acres with "7 or 8 families settled on it". Lee indicates on the survey "the courses are such as the needle gave 25 or 30 years ago".
