Brief Description: Lithograph overprinted in red and blue of the Cherokee Outlet. Privately published for the use of homesteaders in advance of the 1893 land rush, the map shows the surveyed area of what is now Oklahoma, subdivided into thousands of quarter-section parcels. Included is a 22 page pamphlet where the map was folded within and contains a "summary of the United States Homestead and Pre-emption laws applied to the Cherokee strip or outlet and extracts from the President's proclamation."
