Names on the survey are the same on the final copy: James Madox (also spelled Maddox), Asa Flood, George W. Melvin and Joseph Jellison except for Reuben Tourtelotte who is named on the draft copy. The draft copy is connected to Marie Therese de Gregoire's land sales featured on the final copy. Marie Therese de la Mothe de Gregoire was the granddaughter of Antoine La Mothe, Sieur de Cadillac who named Cadillac Mountain. Marie Therese was awarded the eastern half of Mount Desert Island but sold off her holdings.
