Brief Description: Poster advertising the Eastern Rail Road trips by steamboat and rail. Included is the announcement for a new steamer called Governor. Included are the schedules and fares to Boston and Portland, Maine.  Eastern Rail Road connected Boston, Massachusetts to Portland, Maine. It competed with the Boston and Maine Railroad for service. The competition ended when the Boston and Maine leased the Eastern Rail Road in 1884.
