Brief Description: Saunders Brothers was the leading manufacturer of dowels and wood products located in Fryeburg and Westbrook, Maine. The company closed in 2008. Pictured on the front cover of the box is Donald K. Saunders, Chairman of the Board with two logos: "Look what you can do with Saunders Brothers dowels and wood products" and "Dowels can be more darn fun". Within the box are puzzle pieces comprised of leftover dowels, furniture legs, and small wooden pieces to construct a satellite city. A cardboard backdrop depicting a lunar space setting with mountains is also included.
