It was at the Temple of Music where anarchist Leon Czolgosz assassinated McKinley. The Pan American Exposition was held at Buffalo, New York from May 1 through December 2, 1901. Exhibits included buildings featuring the arts, agriculture, electricity, technology, transportation and machinary. Benjamin West Kilburn, publisher of stereographs was also known for his photojournalism. Kilburn and his brother Edward founded the Kilburn Brothers Stereoscopic View Company in 1865.
