Brief Description: The etching is from the first four volumes entitled "A Natural History of Uncommon Birds" published between 1758 and 1794. The map records his journey through northwestern Europe travelled to Holland, Norway, and France. At the top is described as the beak of an Egyptian ibis. The two stag beetles are male and female from Borneo depicted in natural size. The inset portrays a least humming bird of Jamaica in life size.
