Military families, industrial workers, office clerks, refugees were all affected and on the move. Louise E. Jefferson's pictorial map depicts the different ethnic groups that included Mexicans and also African-Americans who were primarily looking for work and a better life. Dislocation and lives disrupted interested Jefferson and that included a map about Indians in the United States showing their dislocation.
