Physical Description: Attached to verso of title page with part of a black wax seal is a manuscript extract from the British press dated 19th April 1815 regarding the mutiny of the Bounty. It includes an account of the descendants of Fletcher Christian who led the mutiny and one surviving member, John Adams and several descendants including a son of Christian named Thursday October Christian. At the end of the volume is a manuscript with similar extracts from the press and letters relating to missionary work. Included is an alphabetical list of subscribers and an appendix describing the South Pacific islanders' customs, language and dress.
