Brief Description: Broadside instructing residents of Japanese ancestry excluding them from areas considered of national security importance. After the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii on December 7th, 1941, Japanese-Americans were rounded up and relocated to internment camps. Between 1942 and 1945 camps in various locations such as California, Arizona and Wyoming over 120,000 Japanese-Americans were held in the camps. The government announced that the camps would be closed by the end of 1945. The last to close was at Tule Lake, California in March, 1946.
