Notes: Colored outlines and wash. A map with a very similar title resides in the Nordenskiold Collection at the Helsinki University Library, but it says "S. Caes MajGeogr. Aug. instead of Chalcogr. Augustani. It is attributed to J.B. Homann and Heirs, who were in business from 1720 until 1771. Suetter apprenticed with Homann before opening a competing shop of his own, and apparently he copied Homann's work. There is also an very similar map at the University of Bern, except the illustration in the upper right hand corner is replaced by blank space, a simpler cartouche, and an attribution to Johann Michael Probst, who was considerably younger than Seutter and apparently bought his plates in 1762. Bern estimates the dates of that map between the years of 1758 and 1809.
