Brief Description: Manuscript survey in a grid pattern featuring lakes, ponds, property ownership. Included are names of different trees such as cedar, burch, pine, maple and poplar. Featured is the north line of Bingham's Pruchase which is part of the area of William Bingham's lands which he purchased from Massachusetts and through a lottery. After the American Revolutionary War Massachusetts needed to sell off unsettled lands in northern parts of Maine. Maine was part of Massachusetts until it became a state in 1820. The survey also includes the town of Beddington, Schoodic Road, Narraguagus River, Sysladobsis Lake.
