Brief Description: The Larkin Soap Manufacturing Company was founded by John D. Larkin in Buffalo in 1875. The company which manufactured laundry soap grew through street sales and later expanded into large factories. The honor roll was designed by German-born Alexander Oscar Levy commemorating the service of Larkin employees who served in the war. Eight names were highlighted in gold signifying their sacrifice during the war. Pictured are images of figures representing Victory, the U.S. Navy and Army. Included is a nurse administering to a wounded soldier.
