Brief Description: Imre Kiralfy was a Hungarian impresario producing theatrical spectacles and burlesque. Together with his brother Bolossy they formed a successful partnership creating extravagant musicals and theater productions. In 1887 they had a falling out and the firm was disbanded. Each brother individually continued to produce theatrical works. Program for Imre Kiralfy's theatrical production "America" at the Auditorium in Chicago beginning April 22, 1893. The production featured ballet performances and pageants. depictions of American Revolutionary War events such as Washington crossing the Delaware; inventions by Benjamin Franklin, the cotton gin and the sewing machine. Included were scenes of the Far West, the close of the Civil War and the World's Columbian Exposition. Front cover features the Auditorium theater.
