Also included is a handwritten poem entitled "The Dying Criminal" which was "corrected from his own manuscript". Has blue paper cover. This atlas may have been compiled by Sarah R. Allen, 1818-1894, who married Daniel B. Akin in 1848. The rudimentary maps drawn in pencil that accompany the more sophisticated pen and ink maps may have been drawn by one of Sarah's children.
