This globe (#28) is from the Chicago World’s Fair of 1893. In the center, it holds a glass perfume bottle and the “World’s Fair Perfume,” made by Hermann Tappan Perfume.

The globe itself is a pun on the title of the perfume, something that Hermann Tappan was known well for.

Some other iconic Hermann Tappan Perfume bottles are pictured here. They include the “Star Gazer,” a “Souvenir of the War,” and “Clean Sweep.”
