Brief Description: Manuscript plan in 2 sheets overlayed to create one image in and around Orono northeast of Bangor. Shows lot lines along the Penobscot River at the southern end of town and identifies land owners and physical features. Includes "south line of township n. 5 granted to Waterville College" which later became Colby College. Two lots owned by lumber entrepreneurs John Bennoch and Andrew Webster who came to the area in 1808 are identified at the north edge of the map. Joseph Treat and James Irish also surveyed the area.
