Notes: Map is backed onto linenSimilar map to OS-1755-17, except this one is backed onto linen.Handwritten notations including "Naxoat F ruined" which refers to Fort Nashwaak, the capital of Acadia and now in present-day Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Built by the French between 1691-1692, numerous raids were conducted from there to the New England border including the Oyster River raid in present-day Durham, New Hampshire.
