Current Exhibition (Gallery): Torn in Two uses historic maps, photographs, and prints to take a geographic and cartographic approach to exploring and illuminating the causes of the Civil War, the conduct of the war, and how the war has been remembered. Torn in Two is a traveling exhibition that originated at the Norman B. Leventhal Map Center of the Boston Public Library and is sponsored by Liberty Mutual Group.
Family Map Activities (Cohen Center): Join us in creating and building unique globes and atlases. Test your knowledge of geography with Map Scrambles. Complete a scavenger hunt, view a historic map slideshow, and play map-based board games.
Open to the public at no charge. Free Parking in the USM Parking Garage.
