Animal Crossing’s newest game, New Horizons, has been a massive hit since it released in March of this year. This game allows you to design and customize so many things about your island including custom designs to use and share in the community. Recently, museums and cultural organizations have begun creating and sharing designs inspired by highlights from their collections and we couldn’t wait to join in!
There are a few ways to download and enjoy these designs, with a QR code and a smartphone, or with a Maker ID/Design ID in the Custom Designs Portal in the back of the Tailor’s Shop, aka the Able Sisters’ Shop.
(If you are unfamiliar with how to download custom designs into your game you can check our our How-To page.)
Use these design IDs and QR codes to download highlights from our collections!
All custom designs posted by the Osher Map Library and Smith Center for Cartographic Education can be found with the maker ID: MA-9663-0485-9407
